The late Alexander John Bignell established the business in 1965. Since 1982 the business has been successfully controlled and run by his son Mark.
We manage and administer our company utilising efficient cost effective tendering, estimating, project management and accounting systems. We maintain current occupational health and safety procedures and polices. Our project team also include qualified subcontractors and all professional services needed to complete your project.
Our clients are varied and scattered across the Pacific Rim. We complete whole contract and do-and-charge projects for state, federal and local government departments, major companies, head contractors, small businesses and individuals.
SERVICES PROVIDED
DESIGN: from concepts through to detailed construction planning, we can assemble the required design skills and or work with an outside design consultant.
ESTIMATING AND COST CONTROL: cost control and estimating are critical therefore our budgeting services are vital in establishing a solid foundation from which to plan and fund a project.
CONSTRUCTION: Bignell Concepts seeks total satisfaction, mindful of time and cost parameters, before, during and after construction.
MANAGEMENT: Very simply, the right team is assembled, including all consultants needed to complete the project. From then on the processes that form Bignell Concepts quality system, ensure streamlined, functional and accountable progress.
Our delivery systems are varied to suit each client and project. They include, construction management, the position of head contractor, design and construction services and can if need be extend to include the design and installation of electrical, data, security, mechanical and ventilation systems.
